About Our Building

38 Ash Street playground

In 2005, BCNC managed a successful capital campaign and built a permanent home at 38 Ash Street in Boston's Chinatown. Certified as the first green building in Chinatown by the U.S. Green Building Council, our building received a Silver LEED rating and provides the children, youth, adults and families we serve with a healthy environment.

Our 20,000 square feet building is five stories with a rooftop garden and playground, a courtyard playground, and houses an early education and care center, youth center, a computer lab, classrooms, offices and meeting spaces for community use.

BCNC maintains a second site a half block away in the Josiah Quincy Elementary School at 885 Washington Street.
